The Senior Healthcare Solutions Consultant leads the design and technical architecture of integrated building systems for hospitality environments. This role combines deep healthcare domain expertise with strong business acumen to translate patient and staff experience and operational requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions. By combining the deep domain expertise of our more than 50,000 employees with decades of data from our global installed base, we are uniquely positioned to lead the industrial sector’s transition from automation to autonomy.Required QualificationsExperience7+ years in Healthcare application engineering, solution proposal or solution consulting OR7+ years in Healthcare Facility Management Leadership AND 3+ years designing building systems in healthcare environmentsTechnical & Professional SkillsStrong expertise in Healthcare building systems, controls, and integration technologiesProven ability to translate patient and staff experience needs into technical solutionsAbility to analyze technical specifications and propose cost-effective alternativesBusiness acumen to connect technical solutions with measurable outcomesStrong storytelling and presentation skills for customer engagementExcellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn configuration/pricing toolsEducationBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferredAdditional RequirementsTravel: 25–50% (domestic and international)Preferred CompetenciesExperience in healthcare settings (hospitals, regional clinics, outpatient centers)Knowledge of clinical systems, hospital-centric technologies and smart building ecosystemsAbility to identify market opportunities and drive innovation initiativesExperience influencing product strategy or standardization effortsKey ResponsibilitiesSystem Architecture & DesignLead the design of reference architectures for integrated building systems in healthcare facilities, including: Building Management Systems (BMS)Energy management and control platformsSecurity and surveillance solutionsFire and Life Safety solutionsClinical systems integrationOther Low-voltage and connected building technologiesTranslate customer requirements into scalable, clearly documented solution designs with defined integration paths.Recommend optimal system architectures aligned with patient comfort, operational efficiency, energy optimization, and occupancy-based control.Review technical specifications, drawings, and integration requirements for major healthcare projects.Customer Engagement & Technical DiscoveryLead technical discovery sessions to identify customer challenges, goals, and existing environments.Engage with owners, operators, consultants, and partners to understand operational workflows and regional requirements.Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey, building strong relationships and credibility.Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Pre-Sales & Solution ConsultingProvide technical leadership in pre-sales engagements (no direct quota responsibility).Design customized solutions that align product capabilities to customer needs and business outcomes.Deliver tailored product demonstrations that highlight solution value and return on investment (ROI).Lead architecture discussions, validate feasibility, and address technical objections.Translate technical features into clear business benefits through compelling storytelling.Continuous Improvement & Industry ExpertiseMaintain deep knowledge of healthcare facility types, building system integrations, and global standards.Analyze customer specifications and single-line diagrams to deliver optimized, cost-effective solutions.Support product lifecycle management and continuous improvement initiatives.Represent technical value in customer presentations, design reviews, and industry discussions.The salary range for this position is ($175000-225000).
